Years back, the building housed a porcelain factory and later operated as a university building, art and knowledge are therefore, integrated components of the boutique hotel portrayed across all lines in the interior decor throughout the hotel.

Where to go: The area is very central which also makes it a bit busy. But only a few minutes away you will reach the Kings Garden (Kongens Have) - a great place for evening and morning walks, and a perfect spot to meet other dogs. For green areas to catch a good run, you can walk to Kastellet or Bernstorffsparken, or go by car to Amager Strandpark or Valbyparken.

Allowed areas: Dogs are welcome everywhere in the hotel in a leash except from the restaurants. BUT, there are plenty of spots to sit in the hotels main areas to enjoy a coffee or cocktail.

Size n’ shape: All dogs are welcome, no restriction on the size. We love that! Always get a confirmation and acceptance to bring your dog when booking your stay.

Room amenities: A large bed and a water bowl. The staff is very friendly so we are positive that it is possible to ask for an extra bowl for food.

Great for: This hotel is great for both shorter and longer stays with your dog.

Accommodation fee: Dogs can stay here for a 35€ / 250 dkk fee per night.

Other? The food, the atmosphere and the feeling is amazing in this hotel.

If you ask us: Make sure your dog is trained, well behaved, calm and travel-savvy when bring him/her to a hotel stay. For the stress-free experience.

Last tip: To avoid unpleasant surprises for both your dog and the hotel staff, always use the “Do not disturb” sign when leaving your dog alone in the room, even for 5 minutes.

Café Duse is named after the Italian actress Eleonora Giulia Amalia Duse, the Italian pastry chef Melissa Forti has created a place of culinary delight in her café on the hotel’s ground floor. Exquisite pastries, fresh coffee and authentic service await both hotel guests and locals, too. The cake creations are also available to take away and are a highlight for all kinds of celebrations.

Restaurant Neni is a colourful variety of tasty dishes are served on the table. The Molcho family’s philosophy for NENI revolves around sharing pleasurable moments. The restaurant serves an eclectic brand of oriental cuisine, coupled with regional influences. Particular highlights of the NENI restaurant in Copenhagen are the private dining room, the community tables and their daytime café boasting a view of the church forecourt.

Assembly Bar acts as the meeting place for travellers. Formerly a place where lecturers and students would gather when it was a university building, today it’s a place where visitors from all over the world can come together. The Assembly bar is the perfect spot for a quick coffee in the morning, a snack after a stroll through the city or a drink before heading out to sample the Copenhagen nightlife.

The Boilerman Bar is like a neighbourhood speakeasy, open to hotel guests and locals alike. A sociable joint, the cosy atmosphere is an inviting place to linger and relax. The undisputed champions of the drinks menu at the Boilerman Bar are highballs – precisely mixed short drinks that are stirred and not shaken. Entertainment is provided by board games which are embedded into the tables.

Fitness and relaxation: On the first floor of the hotel you will find a spacious wellbeing are. A fully-equipped fitness studio, featuring the latest techno gym equipment, yoga mats and a view of the terrace. The outdoor sauna, with both indoor and outdoor loungers, offers guests the opportunity for deep relaxation.
