The Stay Nisantasi brings a little German flavour to Istanbul, with its Bauhaus-revering interiors, courtesy of design firm Autoban. A neutral palette of taupe, cream and mink makes it a restful space, and you can add a dash of colour with the dramatic outfits you’ve bought in the local boutiques. The Art Nouveau exterior blends in seamlessly with the stylish surrounds, which include fashionista-favoured cafés, buzzy bars, and refined neighbourhood restaurants.

The hotel features 44 state-of-the-art rooms and a cosy library lounge. World-renowned fashion houses, such as Louis Vuitton, Hermès and Chanel are just a step away from your room. Known widely among local fashionistas and gourmands, the area is also home to a refreshing selection of elegant and stylish cafes and restaurants and is just a short trip away from to the city’s most famous touristic attractions. Where to go: Istanbul is a bit hectic, no doubt about that. But the hotel is located in Istanbul’s Nisantasi neighbourhood, which is notably chic and glamorous thanks to its prevailingly designer stores and a great selection of cosy restaurants. Take a boat and cruise down the Bosphorus or eat your way around the city on a Culinary Backstreets tour. To see colourful houses that make Notting Hill look muted, head to the Balat neighbourhood and prepare to taste the rainbow. As you will only bring a small dog (max 10kg) here, the need of long undisturbed walks is probably not that necessary anyway.

Allowed areas: Your dog is mainly to be kept in your room and outside the hotel premises. Always keep your dog on a leash inside the hotel.

Size n’ shape: Small dogs up to 10kg are welcome at The Stay Nisantasi. Yes, this excludes 90% of all breeds, but we still love the fact that they welcome dogs.
