Built in the style of an Andalusian village, the lifestyle resort was opened in 1979 and has been a fashionable getaway ever since, with all the spacious rooms and suites benefiting from large private balconies. R O N D A ’ S N O T E S

Where to go: The resort is located right by the beach so the surroundings are perfect for long walks along the beach - we recommend staying with your dog off season due to high temperatures during the summer.

Allowed areas: Besides your hotel room, dogs are allowed in the outdoor areas as well as the El Chiringuito restaurant (in the designated exterior area). The hotel recommend that you do not take your dog to any of their other restaurants / bars, pool areas or gym.

Size n’ shape: Dogs up to 6kg are welcome at Hotel Puente Romano. Unfortunately yes, this excludes 90% of all dogs.

Room amenities: Small bed, bowls, treats and a toy is ready in your room.

Great for: Shorter stays as dogs are mainly to be kept in your room and outside the hotel premises.

Accommodation fee: The daily fee is 30€ per dog.

Dog loving or friendly? Dog friendly.

If you ask us: Make sure your dog is trained, well behaved, calm and travel-savvy when bring him/her to a hotel stay. For the stress-free experience.

Last tip: To avoid unpleasant surprises for both your dog and the hotel staff, always use the “Do not disturb” sign when leaving your dog alone in the room, even for 5 minutes.


One Rhonda: Suitable for 1-2 night with a dog. A wonderful stay when transiting to your final destination.

Two Rhondas: Suitable for up to 5 nights with a dog. A place worth staying for a weekend or a couple of amazing days.

Three Rhondas: A destination in itself and suitable for a longer holiday length - Where dogs are as welcome as any other guest in the hotel.
