The dog-policy template for hotels

For hotel managers, owners, and concierges. We are at your service.

At Rhonda’s Choice we experience a bit of everything when we visit hotels. Some hotels are extremely dog loving but you won’t find anywhere in their communication that they welcome dogs, nor do they have a streamlined dog-policy which can be a bit confusing when booking a stay. Other hotels communicates proudly on their website that they are a dog friendly hotel, but when the reality hits and you arrive for check-in, the policy is either very strict or very undefined. As a guest you end up not feeling that welcome after all.

Of course, we don’t see why a hotel would not want to welcome dogs, but we respect that some hotels choose not to.

If you have decided to welcome dogs in your hotel, we suggest that you implement a simple, thought out and welcoming dog-policy. If you don’t have any or feeling like updating an existing one, we have made a great template, almost plug and play, ready to implement.

Our dog-policy template is welcoming, firm and simple, and guarantees that it will be a positive stay for both guests and hotel staff. And of course free of charge.

Psst. Before you leave the page thinking, “no! we won’t accept all sizes”, just remember who is making the most noise. Wink wink.
