If you prefer to stay in the heart of the beautiful and prestigious district Opéra Garnier, then you probably would be interested in the award-winning Sofitel Le Scribe Opéra Paris hotel. The hotel is a part of Sofitel Hotels and Resorts, and it is easy to recognise their characteristic luxury standards and you can expect a high level of comfort and service. After a complete renovation in 2019 and as result of collaboration between Wilson Associates and Atelier Tristan Auer, the hotel rooms and suites were designed like Parisian apartments, and as guest you can experience the atmosphere of the typical Haussmann residence.

There are many areas in the hotel like lobby and bar, where you can spend time with your dog. But with it’s over 200 rooms and therefore busy environment these areas may feel crowded and busy from time to time. If you don’t want to leave your dog alone in the room, you can have a gourmet experience without leaving the room – the hotel’s in-room dining service will serve you no matter if it is a breakfast, lunch, or a romantic dinner. Among many other services, the hotel has its own fitness centre and wellness area, which can offer you a collection of treatments for the face, body, and your mind. As they say: “Be ready for a unique experience”.

Where to go: The hotel is situated just in the heart of the busy Opéra Garnier district. Of course you may be satisfied with just having a walk in the hotel area and along the spacious boulevard Des Capucines, or you can go straight to the Jardin des Champs-Élysées gardens with nice open grassy areas - a quick 10 minutes of walk from the hotel.

Allowed areas: Dogs are welcome in the lobby area and in your room. They are not allowed in the restaurant and other public areas.

Size n’ shape: No limitations on size and shape, but you need a confirmation on bringing your dog prior your booking and arrival.

Room amenities: Upon to our arrival several accessories are prepared in the room - water bowls, dog beds (available in different sizes), treats and even toys for all our three dogs. Additionally all our dogs got bandanas with the hotel's logo.

Great for: This is for sure an amazing hotel for both short stays as well as a holiday destination for longer stays.

Accommodation fee: The fee varies depending on size and weight of your dog - all that must be agreed and confirmed before your actual booking of the room. The same applies to the minimum size of the room most suitable for you and your dogs. The fee itself starts with 50€ per dog per night for dogs up to 10-15 kg, and for the bigger dogs it is 75€.

Dog loving or friendly? Dog friendly, no doubt.

If you ask us: Make sure your dog is trained, well behaved, calm and travel-savvy when bring him/her to a hotel stay. For the stress-free experience.

Other: With its more than 200 rooms the hotel is a bit busy and crowded - so you might have to be sure that it won't stress your dog.

Last tip: To avoid unpleasant surprises for both your dog and the hotel staff, always use the “Do not disturb” sign when leaving your dog alone in the room, even for 5 minutes.
